It's no secret I love California, more specifically, San Diego. It's gone from vacation destination to second home. I love it for many reasons, but mainly because it houses my chosen family, the McGuires/Kellers. When visiting shenanigans invariably ensue, laughter continually roars, and this creates everlasting memories. You can find me there every few months hanging with my lil' spirit animal niece, Devy, and lounging at the beach while eating In-N-Out Burger. On my recent trip back in February I visisted the Cabrillo National Monument. It was established to commemorate the 16th century European explorer Juan Rodriquez Cabrillo. He was the first to lead an expedition to explore what is now the west coast of the US. (Insert the "The More You Know" logo here.) It sits on a hilltop over looking down town San Diego, and is surrounded by beautiful tide pools. Of course, my camera was at the ready, and I was lucky to have a beautiful day to capture photos. The weather was great my entire stay, and it made for a fun time shooting. Below are my faves of the weekend, enjoy!
